Kacey Snee grew up surrounded by people she considers heroes: her mother, a top real estate agent at JJ Elek; her grandmother, a nurse who works with Alzheimer’s patients; and her late father, a plumber who taught her how to install water heaters, faucets and boilers.
The lessons she learned from these three forces in her life boil down to this: “I’m a fighter, I'm a people person, I’m a believer in perseverance. If you don’t stop, I won’t stop until we find you the home of your dreams. I won’t be out working!”
After working security for many years, including stints with the Transportation Security Administration and on the waterways between New Jersey and New York, Kacey transitioned to real estate, where she looks forward to helping her clients’ dreams come true.
Kacey also spent a lot of her free time volunteering at various assisted living facilities, where she could observe her grandmother in action, working and caring for the patients, and sit with them to offer a smile and a willing ear.
“Working with these seniors was important to me. I was often the only visitor some of those patients had and seeing them smile or listening to stories was a reward in itself,” she recalls.
While Kacey decided to pursue a career in real estate because of her mother—“Watching her change people’s lives and seeing the connection she makes with people inspired me,” she said—she finds herself working alongside other family members as well, including her stepmother and her wife, making it a true family affair.
Kacey is married, and mother to a beautiful one-year-old baby girl, Isabell, and a stepson, Erick.
“They are my whole world and the reason I am going after my dreams to become someone.”
